Why hasn't there been an update?

That is what I keep asking myself every time I log in to read the next installment of my life. I like to read as if I am a stranger looking in, and every few days I pop in to see that, sadly, there is no update. Then I have to remind myself that is because I am the author the this so called blog, so I have to write it.

The trip was "interesting" but mostly uneventful. I got airsick for the first (ANd hopefully last) time of my life, but other than that, no real surprised. Hand and donor site look good, see you next year.

We are headed to the Shrine Circus next month, as guests of the Shrine Clowns. I keep offering to pay for the tickets after all they have done for us, but they keep refusing. They are great people!

SO at least there is something to look forward to.

Winter break is almost over, but it was about 3 days too long for me and the kids. We are all bickering at this point. Right now I am enjoying a bit of silence. DH took the girls to the studio so they could play on their computers (ALl the way to the basement LOL!) and the boy is napping. I wish I was a napper, otherwise I may be napping, too. Then again, if I were napping, I'd once again log in to look for an update and find none, so I guess its a good thing I'm not.

Ok nothing more to report at this time.

After a long day of cleaning I find out this:

The boy is very 2 these days, but yesterday he was being very sweet. He came up to me and said "Momma, Can I messy you?" Seeing the tape measure in his hand I said "Sure, Buddy!"

He says "Oh Day ay" and proceeds to put the heavy part of the tape measure on the floor and pulled up on the tape. The Boy got a very serious look on his face, leaned in to take a closer look at the "1 inch" mark and then looked me straight in the eye and said "ooooh, Momma, you messy 40 points" then went on his way.

I'm not sure what scale I was being measured on, but I hope 40 points is good. I've been busting my butt getting the house in shape! LOL! He even helped me vacuum before this.

I'm no longer waiting for something interesting to happen.

I've decided my "ordinary" life is interesting enough.

This morning I pulled out a fistful size clump from the vacuum. No, this isn't very interesting, but the opening I pulled it from was about an inch and a half across, and I only reached in as far as my 2 fingers would allow without removing the brush rollers. I managed to pull out a handful of lint, 2 puzzle pieces, a cap to something we got around Christmas time, several hair ties and assorted papers. I guess I need to get better about picking things up before I start to vacuum.

So now you know that I may not be the best housekeeper, but I do vacuum, and I do know what to do when the vacuum isn't sucky anymore.
