My Baby is now a terrific Two!!

Yes, the boy is getting big! He is TWO!!

I still am in a bit of shock over it. He was totally un aware of it, but had fun blowing out the candle on his ice cream cake tonight.

We've been praying "Terrific Twos" over him, so I hope that the "other" TWO stays away!!! I know he will have his moments, but I am very much looking forward to watching him grow! I can't wait to experience Disney with a 2 YO!!

Of course, DH, as he was putting the candle on the cake made the comment "Wow, next time we use this 2, someone will be turning 12" EEEEK!!! 12?!?!?!

FOr now I will watch my boy sleep in his big boy race car bed and think back to this day 2 short years ago when he was born after a fairly easy birth, A VBAC that was BY FAR the easiest of my deliveries.

hmm Perhaps a Haiku to celebrate:

The Boy is now Two!
He is a baby no more.
Except in my mind.

Don't you HATE it when you KNOW the name of something, but for the life of you can't remember?

I am eternally greatful to live in a time where I can take the information I know, plug it into my trusty computer and a few clicks later come up with exactly what I already knew, but was stuck in an inaccessible part of my brain.

Oh the things I know!!

M's 5th Birthday

Wow. What a road its been, but today is the day M was born, in a flurry of activity after 2 days of hospital bedrest only 15 1/4 inches long weighing just 2 pounds 14 oz!!

She is now 42 inches tall and weighs 33 pounds. So, smallish, but far from where she started!

I will never again have a 4YO girl! She is 5! SHe can count to 100, knows all her letters and will be starting ful day Kindergarden in the falll. Today we have a fun day planned. The kids are all dressed, and I'm about to join them, thenits off the the offices at Town Park to register them for their Summer activities, then off to Chuck E CHeese to use their coupons. M was sent a Birthday one for 20 free tokens and we got another one off hte juice boc package fore 40 free toekns when we buy 40. I have other coupons, too, so we'll be plenty stocked LOL After eating a hearty snack there, its off to Toys R Us for some shopping! All these companies have the right idea to give away a bit to get more in return. Geoffry sent her a birthday card with a $3 gift card in it, an I'm pretty sure its gonna cost me close to $30 to use it LOL!

OK off to fix my princess' hair and add her tiara to it as well so that everyone will know its her special day. No one will realize just how special, or how much she has accomplished in her short life, just like I have no idea what the future holds, but we will tackle today with excitement!!
