Back from the allergist!

OK, SO far, so good!

Well, not totally all good, but not terrible at least, They do not think he has any real food allergies only sensitivities, so that is a good thing. BUT since his initial screen showed a positive allergy to SALINE (ROFL!) We next need to get a blood screen done. The Boy did test positive for an allergy to the dust mite and a small allergy to cats, and a SMALL reaction to a couple of the foods, but they aren't even counting them because of the saline reaction.

SO, at least we think we have avoided the epi pen, but we are to still avoid teh boy's triggers for now (Dairy, oats, squash - which they didn't have a test for, and Bananas) They will call back 7 days after his blood test, even if we get an all clear, and we go back in a month to see if the Zyrtec is helping with the inhaled allergens. We can keep trying new foods at our current pace (ONe new food every 7 days unless there has been a reaction, then hold off until the rash clears.)

I was able to reintroduce Rice, and not only did it stay down, there was no gas, and he skipped his midnight boobie call LOL! We do have a rash where he pooped, but that may or may not be from the virus that is running through is system right now on top of everything else. I didn't give him any rice tonight, and that was one of the foods that he showed no sensitivity to.

Back to applesauce, 1 OZ apple juice mixed with 2 OZ water, honey wheat pretzels and apple wagon wheels for now.

Thanks for all the prayers!!
