Happy Birthday?

The boy has turned one. So far we have: had a major allergic reaction at the zoo ON his birthday. Ate cupcakes, rather smeared them all over himself. Slept, awoke with a fever. Meds on and off all day, higher fever. Call to Doc, then emergency room visit. Chest x-ray, IV line put in, blood draw. 5 hours later the diagnosis? Cold. Ok, Cold with a virus. Gee thanks.

I was going to "promise" him that not all birthdays are like this, but who know what the future holds LOL!

BUT I will say lots of prayers. This was just our 2nd ER visit in 6 years!!

Ok, off to celebrate the parent's 50th anniversary!!
